We love the rooms there, the bed area is small but cozy and interesting looking. Bed is comfortable. There was a tv and a fridge in our room as well. Love the size of the bathroom, much bigger than you'd expect considering the size of the room. Water pressure is SO great, water gets nice and hot quickly in the shower. My favorite thing is the little sink and vanity area outside of the room. So cute and I want something like that in my house haha. For the price, this is definitely a great cozy stay. It's a cool simple vintage looking hotel. The lobby is super dope. The elevator is like a birdcage, it's beautiful. The staff is super nice and helpful. We love the woman at the front desk, Sheila. She's hilarious and really helpful. Definitely would stay again, no question.

The Washington Inn, built in 1913, proudly receives guests in their 100 year old facility. Many of the original construction exists and has been well preserved. The room was comfortable, well cleaned and quiet. It felt safe and protected. In the morning. Breakfast was an array of any other hotel offerings. Yogurt, fruit cups, juice, cereal with milk, oatmeal, bagels, toast and jam! It was welcoming with delicious coffee! Water was the only thing o would have like to have in my room. I didn't notice the water option downstairs near the reception area until I was ready to leave! I'll choose the ole Washington Inn over the Marriott any day! Thanks staff!!

I liked the location...in the middle of uptown and incredible restaurants I am a senior citizen so I liked the walk in shower I liked that one of the windows opened part way The staff was friendly The TV was near the bed The architecture of the building was The air conditioner worked well

The breakfast is convenient and acceptable. I love the King Suite and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is my new home away from home. I live in East Contra Costa and when I know I'm going to be in the east bay for a long period this is the first place I try to stay!

The staff was very helpful about telling us where we could park our rental car safely overnight. The hotel was quiet and right near downtown. There was a farm market around the corner the next morning and bunch of interesting shops and cafes in the area.
